Biography:

Of Alsatian origin, founded in 1785, the PETER goldsmith house settled in Paris in the middle of the 19th century under the leadership of Gustave Emile Peter. Very confidential, their refined creations are found on the tables of all Paris. But it will be Fréderic-Albert Peter, the son of the latter, who will give a real artistic boost to the house, making its name enter the repertoire of French luxury cutlers. Envied by all for its creative genius and its know-how, the Peter house will be bought by the Ercuis house in the mid-1980s.
