Charles Nicolas ODIOT - Important solid silver tray circa 1840/1860
Large rectangular tray with side handles mounted on four foliage legs. This tray has been mounted with a hammer and entirely chiselled with foliage, arabesques on a matte background. The perimeter and the handles are richly carved with flowers, foliage and fruit.
